THE STORY OF MGB WALLETS

MGB Wallets was started in London England just shortly after the introduction of debit and credit cards as a tap payment on the London Underground transit system.

Anyone who lives in London will be familiar with the London Underground Oyster card Travel card. The Oyster card lets you add money to it and then use it as a tap card to open the gates on the London Underground transit system. A few years ago London Underground changed their system to allow you to use a debit or credit card as a tap payment to open the gates, this was in addition to the Oyster cards.

This caused all kinds of problems. When the system only accepted Oyster cards you could keep your Oyster card in your wallet and just tap your wallet on the gates. As soon as they introduces debit and credit cards to the system, it created a card clash. If you tapped your wallet with more that one card in it, the gate would not open due to reading too many cards at once. It became a nightmare for commuters who were used to just tapping their wallet. Now you have to take the oyster card out of your wallet to use it!

MGB wallets were custom designed to solve this problem and keep your bank cards and credit cards safe.

MGB Wallets have created 6 beautifully crafted leather wallets that block RFID signals to keep your tap (credit and debit) cards safe, but also has a travel card pocket to keep an oyster card in. This way your debit and credit cards are protected and you can still tap your wallet without taking the oyster card out of your wallet.

MGB Wallets also keep you secure from tap scammers, digital and electronic pickpocketing. RFID blocking technology keeps your cards safe from any portable reading device such as a hand held chip and pin machine.
